چکیده

Endophyte-assisted phytoremediation is an emerging technique for soil heavy metals (HMs) remediation and has become a research focus in the world because of benefits endophytes on plant growth uptake HMs. In this study, multifunctional endophytic bacteria strains were isolated screened, feasibility these cadmium (Cd) was investigated by incubation experiments pot experiments. All from roots woody plants grown Cd-contaminated soil. Seven had capacities to tolerate Cd toxicity produce siderophores, sequence analysis 16S rRNA gene classified as belonging genera Burkholderia, Pseudomonas, Pantoea, Herbaspirillum. able hydroxamate siderophores (32.40%–91.49%) three or more promoting properties such phosphorus solubilization, nitrogen fixation, indole acetic acid 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate deaminase production. They all strongly resistant Cd2+ toxicity, with minimum inhibitory concentration LB medium ranging 1.5 mM 9.0 mM. Except strain Burkholderia contaminans JLS17, other showed decreasing removal rates within continuously elevated 10–100 mg L−1. Compared uninoculated treatment, inoculation B.contaminans Pseudomonas lurida JLS32, Pantoea endophytica JLS50 effectively increased acid-soluble decreased reducible, oxidizable, residual soils different contamination levels. experiments, JLS17 YTG72 significantly (p < 0.05) promoted above-ground parts root system slash pine (Pinus elliottii) under stress. This study provides valuable biological resource endophyte-assisted theoretical basis application

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...

Phytoremediation Potential of Corn and Oat for Increased Levels of Soil Cadmium under Different Irrigation Intervals

The present pot experiment was undertaken to investigate the phytoremediation potential of corn and oat in soil. Treatments consisted of four cadmium (Cd) levels (0, 5, 10 and 20 mg l 1) and three irrigation intervals (1, 3 and 7 days), arranged in the form of a complete randomized design with three replications. Corn and oat were harvested after 75 and 90 days, respectively. Transpiration rate...

Cellulose Acetate Nanofiltration Membranes for Cadmium Remediation

In this work, cellulose acetate (CA) nanofiltration (NF) membranes were prepared via non-solvent phase inversion technique (NIPS). Polymer concentration was varied from 22 to 25 wt% in order to study its effect on the membrane properties. The fabricated membranes were characterized in terms of morphological analysis using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), contact angle, water content, water p...

Isolation of siderophore producing bacteria from rhizosphere soil and their antagonistic activity against selected fungal plant pathogens

Bacteria are generally the predominant initial inhabitants of newly expanded leaves, while yeast and filamentous Fungi dominate later in the growing season (Srivastava and Shalini, 2008). The extraordinary use of chemical fungicides resulted in environmental pollution and ill health to biotic community as a whole. Therefore biological method of plant disease management seems to be a better alte...

Assessment of the Use of Natural Materials for the Remediation of Cadmium Soil Contamination

Rice plants accumulate cadmium (Cd2+) within the grain, increasing the danger of human exposure. Natural materials have been used in soil remediation, but few studies have examined the risks (based on the bioavailability of these metals to plants) of using these materials, so the practice remains controversial. In the present study, we evaluated the effectiveness of biochar produced from sugarc...
